So cutie pie has been rolling all the way over onto her stomach for a couple of weeks now! She's such a superstar! And her talking volume has increased by about 1 billion decibals! She's so loud! And sometimes she makes really funny noises that sounds like a cat in a fight! She's so funny!
So a couple of days ago she woke up at around 5 or 6 in the morning and her daddy was very sleepy. She was making her usual loud noises and he just wasn't in the mood. He turned and looked at her very sternly and in a very harsh tone said "Aliyah! Be quiet!" She stops and looks at him for a second and then her lip curls up slightly and she lets out the cutest little giggle! How could he feel anything but love and happiness after that!?! Oh the powers she has over us already! Later that same day, I laid her on the bed and started to set the mood for bedtime. I softly repeated "it's time to go to sleep" with the lights dimmed. Then out of nowhere this cutie lets out the funniest cat noise at the top of her lungs! How can I do anything but laugh!? So much for trying to unwind her.
I took her to the doctor's office a few days ago because she had her first cold (she's fine) and she weighs 12.75 lbs! She moved up another diaper size! You'd think I'd realize she needed to change sizes after all those episodes of explosive poop leaking out of the diaper. So with every diaper size, the pictures of the sesame street gang look a little older. This time, they're sitting up and crawling! She's not that big yet! She's just a little thing still...well in age at least =)
When she wakes up and sees me she smiles so sweetly. Then I started to unwrap her...one arm shoots straight up like shes going to fly away...then the other and a nice long stretch. Everything she does is so cute!
Sometimes I wish I could stop taking so many pictures of her. I'm obsessed with her cuteness. I think I need to go to some support group for obsessed mothers. I can't help it! I want to be able to look back and remember everything...but at the same time I was to savor the moment instead of running to get my camera. Perhaps I can cut back just a little bit =)
I just remember one last funny thing about her...for some reason she likes it when I pick her nose =D Maybe it tickles. I don't know but she sure thinks it's funny!
